Now Kirby might look familiar to you as she was also featured in last week's Mentor Monday email. We have a few people like Kirby who wanted to be involved in Strike a Match both as a mentor and as a young professional woman being mentored, so we've created a Match for her in both roles.

Kirby and Tiffany just had a chance to meet last week for the first time and Tiffany sent me this beautiful picture of these two smiling, beautiful faces right after that first meeting. Here is what Tiffany had to say about her motivation for finding a mentor and her hopes for her relationship with Kirby:

“I am currently enrolled at Upper Iowa University. I am pursuing my MBA with an emphasis of Human Resource Management. I was introduced to the Lead(h)er program by Melissa Peppers. She was a guest speaker in one of my marketing classes and was asking what I planned on doing after graduation. This question stumped me! She then told me about the Lead(h)er organization and how the mentor program works. I was thrilled when I was paired with Kirby. At our first meeting we discussed my outcome goals and how we can achieve them. I want to gain confidence entering a new career field. I would like to gain experience through volunteer opportunities. I want to improve my resume writing abilities as well my interview skills. And lastly, I want to network and build professional relationships. That’s a lot, but my mentor Kirby has assured me all is POSSIBLE! I would like to thank you and the Lead(h)er organization for this opportunity.”
