Claire and I hit it off immediately when we met at a Lead(h)er event for mentors and mentees!  She has so much great energy and is just a joy to be around.  Honestly, she is just as much my mentor as I am hers!!  Thanks to Lead(H)er for bringing us together!!

Claire and Kathleen share a very important point in their stories, a point we hear often from our matches. While Kathleen was identified as the mentor when the two were matched, they have discovered that the real work of mentoring allows both people to move in and out of each role. They are both able to bring their collective wisdom and shared experience to the table, and are able to realize tremendous benefit in this new relationship! This serves as a perfect reminder of the fact that we don't have to be an expert in order to share your experience. We just need to be willing to share the expertise we have from our life experience. It is the willingness to share that really makes a successful mentoring relationship.
